PHUKET BRANCH MANAGER

How long have you been working at Premium Food and what different roles have you held within the company? What is your role now?

I started at the end of August 2021 as the Branch Manager. Initially, there were only three people in Phuket; now, we are seven, with more team members expected soon.

In the first period, I was a little bit scared, honestly. I didn't know much about food, but fortunately, being Italian, I love to eat good food. I tried almost all the items in the catalog, which increased both my knowledge and my belly! Initially, our focus was on acquiring new customers, and we successfully grew our customer base from 90 to around 200.

Afterward, I worked on optimizing logistics. We used to lose a lot of time and I worked on streamlining the process to ensure timely deliveries.

Following the improvements in logistics, we concentrated on managing our stock efficiently.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Premium Food

For me, it's the opportunity to spend the entire day traveling around the island, meeting new people, and building new, positive relationships.

Who has inspired you the most throughout your career?

Tamara radiates so much energy, and I must say, the entire sales team and the Bangkok team contribute to a fantastic vibe that resonates with me.

Have you always worked in this industry? If not, what other types of jobs/roles have you held?

WOW nice question. No, this is the first time on this job just a list of what I do in my life

Dishwasher, Pizza Chef, Waiter, Cook, Driver, Masonry, Butcher, Bar Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Sales, Insurance Broker.

What’s the best advice you could give someone who’s just starting out in their career?

Stay hungry, passionate, and believe in the products you sell.

What are some of the accomplishments you’re most proud of?

Phuket Brach grow a lot the last 2 years, I'm very proud of it.

If you could only eat one thing from Premium Food for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

Sea Bass from Acquanaria

What's something you're truly passionate about or enjoy doing in your free time?

Football and family!

Describe a funny moment from your time at Premium Food that still makes you chuckle.

We have a lot of funny moments, especially during our lunch meetings with the two chefs. Their chemistry is fantastic, and they create a lively atmosphere. However, the funniest moments are perhaps better kept to myself!
