grilled octupus tentacle recipe
Ingredients
- Frozen octopus tentacle from don boncarte
- Olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, , roughly chopped
- Juice from 1 lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Thaw the octopus tentacles and place them in a pot, covering them with enough water. Bring to a boil and cook for 40 minutes.
- Once done, remove the octopus from the hot water, rinse it, and transfer it to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and mix in chopped garlic. Allow it to cool and rest at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat.
- Slice the tentacles and grill them for 3-4 minutes per side until lightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and fresh lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper. Garnish with oregano (optional), parsley, and additional chopped garlic if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
