Instructions

  • Thaw the octopus tentacles and place them in a pot, covering them with enough water. Bring to a boil and cook for 40 minutes.
  • Once done, remove the octopus from the hot water, rinse it, and transfer it to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and mix in chopped garlic. Allow it to cool and rest at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat.
  • Slice the tentacles and grill them for 3-4 minutes per side until lightly charred.
  • Remove from the grill and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and fresh lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper. Garnish with oregano (optional), parsley, and additional chopped garlic if desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!
